My Grandfather was the Skipper up to the time 'She' was commandeered by the Royal Navy to act as a Minesweeper during World War 2.

Bystander of Man ~~~ Designed by Charles Nicholson and built by Camper & Nicholson in 1934, "Bystander" was commissioned in the thirties by W. Stephenson, the owner of the world famous J Class "Velsheda" to support its racing program. It also offered accomodation for guests.
