She was fitted with a original Winterthur (Switzerland) built 6-Cyl. Sulzer Brothers Diesel.

Excellent photograph , Markus - Interesting that she had an Sulzer (the Rolls-Royce of the marine engines, in my opinion ;-)) Was she built for the Russians or picked up by them second-hand ?

Hi Stumps, thanks for your comment. Sulzer has built great engines indeed, but bad managers at the end, which destroyed a great name in the shipping world. :-(
