Thanks for that, exuse my ignorance but how did you know that? I'm new to this shipspotting thing - but enjoy it and can't wait to get back to a sea port to get some more photo's (I live next to a lake).

Port company shipping lists now all on line so easy to find what ships will be in on a given day. As far as past dates go, not so easy unless someone records details such as happens in Napier as one enthusiast does. With his database easy to go to a specific day and search what was in. Also I assist in publishing a monthly newsletter mainly on Napier shipping, but also include rest of N.Z. and worldwide, as well as historical events, which includes shipping movements at the port.
I see you in South Is, some good vantage points at the main ports down there for good photography.
