Per World Ship Society’s Marine News December 2004 Vol. 58 No.12: “ANTONINA NEZHDANOVA 4,254/78, cruise ship, owned by Far Eastern Shipping Co., Russia. Seriously damaged 21/10/2004 by typhoon “Tokage” whilst berthed at Fushiki, Japan. She developed a list of 50 degrees and flooded following cracking of the hull and is reported to be lying on her side in the harbor. The crew of 68 plus 44 passengers were evacuated.
Per World Ship Society’s Marine News January 2005 Vol. 59 No.1: Has been abandoned by her owners and work has commenced to remove the wreck. The deck cargo of cars has been discharged and oil and fuel pumped out.
