Wind was blowing West force 7.Entrance of the port is only 100m wide.
She passed only 50cm from the fender at the corner from berth.Bow was only a few meters from breakwater

Excellent set of photographs charting this ferries precarious departure from Nice (by the way the sea shows lovely shades of colour that have been nicely captured).

I would have thought the vessel should perhaps have been assisted by tugs in such conditions?
