Hello Rob and thank you for your comment:-)I agree there should be much more pics of offshore vessels at work :-)

There aren't enough photos of vessels like this at work offshore, let alone photos as good as this. I hope there was someone on Nordica photgraphing Polar Prince.

ok. She was trenching around the platform feet because the feet are going the be cut a few meters belov the seabed. Saipem 7000 is expected later this summer to remove the remaing platforms. We, Polar Prince had a big "Cutter"(20 tonn) and were cutting pipes on the seabed etc

Unfortunately not. But am following the vessels chartercontracts and positions. Two days ago she was bunkering etc at Hinna, and then went back to Frigg. So guess they continue trenching there.

Hello, Yes I was on the Polar Prince(as DPO). The picture was taken approx. a week ago. Have you been working on Nordica? Guess they still there doing trenching
Pekka Laakso on Jun 23, 2007 16:46 (11 years ago)
Atmospheric photo of my favourite. :-)

Are you working onboard POLAR PRINCE? According to AIS sites both vessels had been working around Frigg in the few last weeks...
