Description:

In 1975/ 1976 16 patrol vessels were built on the Clyde by the Ailsa yard at Troon and James Lamont at Port Glasgow for the Mexican Navy.
At regular intervals they would come upriver to Glasgow to await the arrival of COMODORO MANUEL AZUETA to escort them home to Mexico.
This is one such occasion in March 1976. Three of the patrol vessels, HERIBERTO JARA CORONA, FRANCISCO J MOJICA and PASTOR ROUAIX can be seen.
I don't know if any are still sailing.
