Special design: Thanks to a hinge construction at the stern, the ship can open up along her central axis. As a result, the two halves of the hull can be driven apart to form a triangle at an angle of approximately 65 degrees. The oil film collected in this "triangle" is sucked off by a skimming device with fuel-water separation filter system and is stored in the ship's holding tanks.
