Thames Barge used in evacuation of british troops from Dunkirk in 1940. Her usual cargo consisted of grain, malt and building materials. However she did carry some more unusual things like spars for the German Kaisers racing schooner. Early in World War 11 she was chartered by the ministry of supply to carry ammunition from an Army depot near Upnor to Naval vessels anchored in the Thames Estuary. Built 1892 Length 80ft, Beam 20ft, Draft 3ft, displacement 49 Tons.
