Description:

Vessel St Katharine moored in the Thames River, 28 June 2007.
ex Port of London Authority flagship.
337gt
Built 1927 as a survey and inspection vessel for the Port of London Authority by Philip and Sons Ltd, Dartmouth.
1939 Taken over by the Admiralty and armed.
1946 Returned to PLA service and refitted t become a luxury cruise vessel for visiting heads of state and VIPs, including Royalty.
1971-2007 Decommissioned from royal service in 1971 and sold to Robin (Marine) Ltd to be used as a floating restaurant on the Thames River.
Had numerous owners and fell into a state of disrepair.
2008 Restoration began by a group of enthusiasts with the result being "The Yacht London" (Trading name of Opentrade International Ltd, London).

She's the ex PLA flagship,she used to carry out tours through Londons Docks and is now a floating bar.
