It was given to me by Rex Cox WSS Hobart Branch President and posted with his permisson hopeing someone can tell us some more about it.

collision 11.50N/17.30W 14.4.74 & sank 11.56N/17.17W 17.4.74

Oh yes, could have written a book about this vessel and the other vessels of thor dahl. Actually its a sad story, about a company that was partly responsible for the near annhilation of the whales. Later the company nearly broke its back during the tank - chrisis in the seventies... Today there is not much left. I will upload some shots of ships of thor dahl soon

The company, Thor Dahl in Sandefjord, Norway had one more ship of his type, " Thorshøvdi " - just a little bit bigger and built at B & W, Copenhagen, Denmark in 1948.
