The picture is probably taken before 1927. My relative who sailed with her died in New York 1927. Help to identify this yacht would be much appreciated.

I think, you're right. The yacht on the pic is APHRODITE.

No, I think it´s american. My relative lived in New York.

Have been trying hard to find her, tought I was getting close with "Kanawha" but think it might be a false lead. Will keep looking though :-)

Many thanks for your efforts to identify the yacht. I have only information about the name of my relative. Four brothers of my grandfather were machinists and their name was:
Charles Osberg
John Osberg
Victor Osberg
Oscar Osberg.

One of them sailed on the mystery yacht.

Sorry, but I think, it's not the KANAWHA.

The KANAWHA is similar, but not the same vessel.
