Nice photo, but I find it a pity that recently that dark-grey seems to become a use for this kind of ships, looks rather boring I think :-D

It depends of the owners, like this belonging to Peter döhle, well known with their dark grey vessels.

Thanks alot, I didn't know it depends on the owner. I have just noticed similar ships with the similar grey, "Baltic Swan" - with that color should be named more Baltic Crow or something, the "Actuaria" and the "Pirita" has a sort of warship-grey.

BALTIC SWAN and ACTUARIA for example are also part of Döhle-fleet, PIRITA is nowadays Estonian owned but the colours stand for her previous German owner Drevin. Some German owners seem to like grey coloured hulls...

OK thanks alot now, I know that Drevin likes the grey crows, their OOCL Nevskiy is grey too. I have also seen ships with a lighter grey and stripes on bow in the German color black/red/gold, "Sven" that was, looked better & tidy

Those light grey ones like SVEN, GERDA, former VERA, BIANCA RAMBOW etc are owned by the Rambow company. They have used that colourscheme already many many years.

Thanks, she was a bit surprise, had no idea she is going to shift her berthplace. So, was lucky.
