|Stern view of a tanker barge with no name or id docked at Amherstburg, Ontario on the lower Detroit
River on August 11, 2007. This interesting (at least to me) barge was cut down from the Cape Transport which fell victim to a gale on Lake Huron. The Cape Transport was a type of old Great Lakes boat known as a "canaller", a type of lake boat that would fit into the locks that existed in several locations prior to the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Many thanks to Ship_Nerd for providing ID and data in his comment posted to the bow view photo.
