Description:
Bow view of a tanker barge with no name or id docked at Amherstburg, Ontario on the lower Detroit
River on August 11, 2007. This interesting (at least to me) barge was cut down from the Cape Transport, an old Great Lakes boat known as a "canaller" which was a type of lake boat that would fit into the locks that existed in several locations prior to the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Many thanks to Ship_Nerd for the data he has supplied on his comment below. I very much appreciate his ID of this barge/hull.
