Description:

Twin funnels of the ferry/ro-ro Nindawayma although by the time this photo was taken, July 14, 2007, at Port Weller Drydocks along the Welland Canal in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, the vessel had long since left Ontario Northland Marine Services and currently is owned by the Upper Lakes Group who is cutting the ferry down to use as a barge on the North American Great Lakes.

The Ontario Northland is better known as a railroad that extends well north in Ontario to Hudson Bay, providing service to a vast roadless area of sparse settlement as well as connecting southern Ontario with Hudson Bay.
