The Great Lakes bulker American Courage has almost finished a complete revolution in the turning basin at the Norfolk Southern coal dock in Sandusky, Ohio on August 14, 2007. It will now have to wait several hours for the Algosoo to complete loading. The shallow water of the turning basin (the level of all of the Great Lakes is abnormally low requiring both bulkers and cargo vessels to load below their capacity)has stirred up a good deal of sediment and other lacustrine delicacies casuing the overabundant gulls and turns to go into a frenzy around the ship.
