Description:

The Cape Elizabeth moves out, into and down the Maumee River in Toledo, Ohio on the afternoon of August 14, 2007. The vessel is U.S. flagged and homeported in Chicago, Illinois. We have not found any info as to what it is that the Cape Elizabeth does to earn its keep and hopefully someone on this site will tell us.

Thanks for the info Jeff -- I appreciate the time and trouble you went to in order to get that info. Given the tires around the hull, etc I almost think it might be in use as a Toledo pilot boat but that is just speculation and it does not have anything to indicate it would be a pilot boat.
