Vessels on a promotion trip looks a bit like a fake. It´s more appearance than substance. But great shots Derek. Thanks for sharing.

Michael

Hi Michael,
I was surprised by her appearance, certainly looks contrived. But she did make a nice shot.

And another "wow" for having just their own containers. Was this by accident or for a publicity shot?

Believe this was done for a publicity shot!

Magogman,

She heading for Southampton to be named 25th June, container lines have a habit of doing this when naming their vessles as it looks much better for thier publicity shots!
I caught her in port & sailing that evening:

Thanks Andrew for the information and for the photo links -- I left on a 3 week trip without much computer access June 24 so missed those photos when you posted them. That certainly explains what looked so strange -- very neat that you could get the photos. As you know I like containers and had not seen one of those setups before.

I would rate this one a "wow" based on the container arrangement. Very interesting to us container freaks, or semi-container freak I guess. Nice photo and nice containers!
