The excursion vessel Friendship leaves its dock with a private charter in Wyandotte, Michigan on the Detroit River. Aug. 11, 2007. In the morning the photographer was on a 4 hour trip on the lower Detroit River on this vessel with a group of Great Lakes shipping enthusiasts.

The 85 foot Friendship was built in 1968:

The vessel is owned by and operates as part of a very nice riverside restaurant in Wyandotte, Michigan,Portofino on the River.
