Description:

The former R.V. Atlantis (used by Dr. Robert Ballard to locate the Titanic) is now privately owned R.V. Atlantis II since being sold to private interests in 1997. She sits at her pier in the harbor in Newport R.I. on a recent overcast day on August 2007. Note the S.U.V. on the fantail. It is loaded to the dock via the 20 ton capicity crane on the starbourd side of the ship just out of view in the picture.
