Jim is right but I just don't like these things. Can't stand them! Ugly floating slums of excess.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder -- I am heading to Quebec City in 10 days to see the QE2!

When you have seen the passenger liners lined up in New York City in the 1950s these things just do not measure up. Strange as it seems I really follow closely the modern container ships. Go figure.

And of course the most beautiful ships that ever floated were the old double ended lakers. May they rust in peace!
