Hi Marc,
one of my all time favourites !!
Many thanks for posting. I never saw a colour photo of that vessel before.
By the way, yesterday I received ships on focus No.36 (because of Katerina A). I was surprised to find very nice photos of you in the magazine. congrats.

Thanks, Gerolf.

My color photo feature in Ships in Focus #36 was in the works for quite a while. I'm very grateful to Roy Fenton who allowed me to publish an article in his now famous magazine, the first time for me in a British publication. Many of the original slides were taken by John Low back in the 1960s so he's behind some of the best vintage color ice shots I've ever seen and set my hands on.
I'm happy you enjoyed this feature of mine.

Regards,

Marc

Hi Marc, Absolutely beautiful! If you have any more of this era please keep them coming! I used to see this beauty often at Liverpool!

Regards, David.

Thanks, David, for the positive comment.
John Low took the original slide some 45 years ago near where I live today. I was a teen then and he had me started in the hobby a decade later.
If you go through my potfolio for the month of September, you will see a glimpse of his work among my more recent pickings.

Regards,

Marc
