Beautiful photo!

Where were those blue skies on Friday the 28th when it arrived in Quebec City? My one and only time I will ever see this magnificent ship.

Glad you got it in such beautiful weather. Great photo!

Well, I don't think I will see the QE2 again since it is being retired and sold to Dubai. I was led to beleive that this trip was its last to Quebec City which is why I made the 1,000 mile trip up there to see it. Well worth it in any kind of weather. Besides, I needed to be in Vermont about that time so it fit in well.

When I go shipspotting dark rainy weather is almost a certainty!

I would enjoy seeing it again but not to the extent of going to Dubai! If it heads for Halifax again count me in!

I suspect the Eiffel Tower will go to Los Angeles but you wont be able to see anything from the top due to the smog and the acid rain will ensure that it won't last for long. I am betting the Great Pyramids will stay where they are, at least for the time being! :-D
