Description:

The last two afloat former Restigouche Class ships Terra Nova (left) and Gatineau (right). Gatineau was first commissioned in 1956, in 1971 she was refitted to an IRE (Improved REstigouche class), and in 1982 she received a DELEX (DEstroyer Life EXtension program) Refit, and was paid off in 1996.
Terra Nova: commissioned in 1959. IRE: 1968. DELEX: 1984. Paid off: 1997.
