Hello Marie-Anne,
RBD is the abreviation for Reederei Bernd Drewitz. There are actually two vessels operating under that name (RBD ALEXA and RBD BOREA). The third unit RBD CONSTANTIA has been renamed DS BLUE OCEAN. And there are two newbuildings under construction: RBD DALMATIA and RBD ESPERANZA. All vessels are being built by Mawei yard in China and have a capacity of 698 TEU.

chances to see more of this type are good. End of 2008 shall be delivered No. 37 of this series which started in 2002 with OPDR LAS PALMAS.
