Lagoa Baiana (IMO nr. 8108494) is berthed alongside Lagoa Gaucha (IMO nr. 8108456), waiting for the necessary repair work after reporting a damaged rudder, as well as demaged propeller blades, both to be specially examined and dealt with at dry dock.
These tugs, operated by CNL - Companhia de Navegação das Lagoas, were built in 1982/83, have a bollard pull of 33 tons, and their power is reported to be about 2,100 bhp. Pic taken at Santos, SP, Brazil at Apr. 3th, 2005
