You're so right, that's just wonderful !! You've got to be a Believer and I'm a real Romantika so far about playing with names 8-)

Thanks alot, well I suspect the ones who name these ships do not think very much of it, as they rather see the ships as some tools to use, so they just.. well to me the names sounds like names for small kids :-D
Best names - at this sime "Southern Ace" etc. :-D
Tomas Østberg- Jacobsen on Oct 27, 2007 13:57 (11 years ago)
Sven. Hannes. Yeah, the names are not the coolest, but they have a meaning i would guess.
Keep posting my friend, a joy to watch.

Why poor thing ? Does look quite well kept, just the name is a shame ! 8-)
Yes there are many types of this seen, not sure whether "Uranus" is same type. But the other sorts of you can see very often is type like "Petuja" and "Sven", I didn't yet look up all details about them. I have also not yet found out how many after all, of these types, including the infamous 168 ers :-D

Hehe... Yeah, i saw hanni... The poor thing.
He(She) does his/hers best, hehe!
Goddamn, must be many of THAT type as well.
Cornelia Klier on Oct 27, 2007 13:17 (11 years ago)
Yes, take one of the the glitter-liners from Oslo to Kiel and hop on the train to get there.. and if you are feeling a bit too overwhelmed by COSCO &Co you might see something more familiar like Hanni

I say lets meet there one time. would have been cool. And resulted in memorycard-meltdown, i guess!
Yeah, fond memories about hamburg.
Cornelia Klier on Oct 27, 2007 13:12 (11 years ago)
Yes, and there's even far more interesting stuff in Hamburg :-) Hehe, well I am fond of this city of course, so many ships and all on one weekend, usually. Best in summer when it's warm outside and to go in winter, worth to get cold feet and find reason to drink too much tea with rum :-D
Tomas Østberg- Jacobsen on Oct 27, 2007 13:10 (11 years ago)
All this talk about aurora allmost makes me go to hamburg to wait her out! HEHE! Yep, the aurora and margaretha have the colours.

Nice photo really, of a - well, not so special ship (as I said), but you had really got a good angle here, and good weather, too !! And - btw I am with you and can understand you, for Larvik - just ANY ship is special :-) A neat little port is, what I thought, and good place for crew to go fishing too, and you've got as well a nice, neat little but VERY good bakery in the center ! So..don't worry, just for us from the big big port Hamburg, series 168 ships are not special, so many of them and one's like the other.. apart from MS Blue Wonder :-D
