Im happy with the results as my old camera is usually not good in darkness. :-D
Pekka Laakso on Nov 05, 2007 01:48 (11 years ago)
Yeah, Im happy it worked out so well. I think a yellow ship looks good in dim light.

Cornelia Klier on Nov 04, 2007 23:06 (11 years ago)
That's an incredible shot, and the ship looks sort of pink in some certain places :-) But it's just as good as it can get !

Darkness seems to be no problem, if you know what to do. Fine shot, Pekka! :-D

Hello Pekka,

what a fantastic photo! Darkness does have its advantages, or doesn't it? :-)

Thanks for the compliments, I tried my best and this was also the first this kind of Grimaldi Ive ever seen as I missed the first one. I think the yellow hull make these looking much nicer too.

Have a look also on the real night shot by my colleague Kimmo, who took his pic even without a tripod. I used it on this pic.

You catched her Pekka!
And she looks fantastic.
The darkness does come with the time of year. If it was up to me the does would be a lot longer.

Marie-Anne 8-)
