Thanks Krispin. Much appreciated. :-) From what I could see, she had the look of a small jack up barge or "spud barge". She had a digger on board, so that was probably used for dredging. I think that these small work barges can be configured in a number of ways and used for different purposes such as dredging, light construction, maintenance etc.

Thanks for the comment Krispin. Seems that the incident cuased quite a stir with the locals, Some thought that they had another MSC Napoli on their hands :-)

Can't help you much here, except I know she was based in Plymouth for a while, and operated by Seastructures Ltd - but this company disappeared a couple of years back.

I saw this wreck myself on Saturday, and wondered what it was - so thanks for posting the picture!
