Many thanks for your comment- most appreciated. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the layout of Dover harbour, but this photo was taken from the end of the Admiralty Pier, at a point that is seaward of the Southern Breakwater. The ship is just entering the eastern entrance and is probably just over a mile away from my position. It was taken with a Nikon D100 using a Sigma 50-500 APO lens.
