|SS Catalina Island- 2004 Ensenada, Mexico
The Catalina Steamship, sunk in the mud at Ensenada Mexico. The famous steamship was the main passenger ferry between San Pedro, CA and Catalina Island for fifty years, until it was retired and stored in Ensenada. It was purchased by a millionaire as a gift to his wife, but he never followed through on plans to restore it. It eventually rotted and burned.
