But this one's nice, too. (Something for COKL) :-)

Yeah, she will probably puke in disgrace about it. I dont know. I have a softspot for 168ers.
When i saw actuaria came racing towards us, click here for a look, i was even more sold.

A photo of Arthur Maersk has been posted lately tonight, so I think this will give good balance for COKL. :-D
Really great shot of Actuaria and some funny story.
The best things happen when you're not expecting them. Hope the burger did not weigh too heavy on your stomach. :-D

Hehe... Well, i have turned 101 kilos. So.. Now its the gym again. Yes, its nic ethat we like different ships, in a way. I like tugs. Shot a very big one today, in tønsberg, the Janus. 19 000 bhp!

What should I say? I got about 95 kilos and you're taller than I am!!! :-D

I already had a look at Janus tonight, looks nice, unlike most tugs here in Hamburg.

When I became a member here there was nothing like cruise liners for me. But that changed a lot meanwhile. Cruisers are still my favourite ones but I now also enjoy having a look at a fishing vessel from... let's say... Faroe Islands as well. :-)

Yeah, its strange. Every ship has its.. I dont know.. Charm. But some ships you may look hard to find it, hehe..
I really see your point, man.

I thought about this for a while and my conclusion is: There are no ugly vessels in my opinion. They may look strange (like e.g. the late Aquarama/Marine Star) or bizarr (like almost all vehicle carriers) but your right, each got its certain charme.
I think even feeders do! :-D

Yep. I have this thing going on in here: The worlds uglyest ship, and there are some heavy-contenders there. But its not an ill-ment competition, hehe.. Just showing the diversity among ships.

You mean your own private competition, or are other members involved?

Which is your No. 1 at the moment? Is there a photo here? Questions...

I'm not sure if I can see any photos at the moment. I haven't tried yet. Hope this problem does not end up again in a total crash!:-o

Hi chief, have a look:

Plain ugly

plain über-strange...

I love them both!

Crazy stuff, indeed. :-D

Especially the so called "fishing vessel".
I really would like to see this one afloat...

Not many strange ships around Hamburg though.
At least I haven't seen a vessel equal to these two beauties of yours.
Maybe they only come out at night around here.

Well, the fishingboat was even stranger in real life, goddamn, there was MANY strange ships at that lot, a wrecking-place in rhodes town. One day i must return.

Never seen a wrecking place in my life.
Must be kind of a morbid atmosphere around there.
But I think it's quite fascinating, too.

I would wonder about all the stories these wrecks could "tell". :-D
Sounds crazy, I think...

If you browse through my shots, there are lots of them from rhodes. May sound sick, but i had somehow the shipspotting-time of my life among the wrecks. Super stuff, walking along in 45 c heat, dreaming about how their life was. My wife often finds this strange, but she understands me as well.

Lucky ME...

Most people will think this strange, I believe.

But I think your wife can be called lucky, too. :-)
There aren't so may people nowadays who are imaginative and make use of it.
Sometimes when I see a rather old vessel I kind of try and make up some biography for it, too. :-D
