First of 5 sisters B70 type tankers, built at St.Gdanska. Others 7 of this type was built at Komuny Paryskiej, Gdynia. Total of 12 units were built in 1962-1968 : 11 for Latvian Shipping Company, Riga, USSR. #B70/03 PROF. T.M. HUBER, built for PZM, Poland.

The older tankers have more class than the new types ( stemliners). I sailed on both types but prefered the older class. More work bit a better ship. :-x

Another nice one. I don't know if it is nostalgia or what but these older ships are really nice looking and they have a lot of character. I guess that might be a sign I am growing old! :-D
