I know that they have many car decks, but it is amazing to learn the great number of cars these modern PCTC can carry. Thanks for that image.

Thanks for the comment. Vehicle carriers are not handsome but they are a wonderful alternative to vehicle manufacturers needing assembly plants and inventories and management issues around the world. They are able to drive product from the factory on to a ship and off at the other end to a retail outlet.

For a larger vessel than Graceful Leader take a look at Manon traversing Sydney Harbour one morning before my breakfast. I think she was one of the WW fleet that was cut in two and extended by 20% to bring her capacity to 7200 cars. Go to
