Ex-HMAS Adelaide. FFG 01. Guided Missile Frigate. Commissioned 1980, decommissioned 2007. Best known to civilians as the ship that rescued round-the-world-solo sailors Tony Bullimore and Thiery Dubois from the remote Southern Ocean in 1997.

Being prepared for conversion to dive wreck to be sunk off Terrigal Beach north of Sydney.

Hammerhead crane no longer in use. National Trust seeking heritage listing.
