Description:
The Irrational Exuberance (Ex-Estrella/Hein Godenwind) started taking on water while alongside the detached Mole in Gibraltar on 27/12/07 she was towed in to the Port where she finally sank to the bottom. The 1960 German built, 1007-ton, 80m former ferry used to run between Gibraltar and Tangier later being sold for to an American for conversion into a yacht (which never happened) but was arrested by the Port Authorities in 2005 over non payment of fees and remained alongside the Detached Mole for years before moving to the Port, where she promptly sank!
Sad ending really!
