Hi Allan,
Thanks for this picture of my favourite. She's good in paint I see.
But the windows in the blue stipes front and on her side, have white lines arround them, have you noticed..? I think maybe new rubbers?

Greetz from the Netherlands

Hi Lars,

Thanks......glad you like the photo.

Quite a while since I have seen her, so didn't notice anything different.

These ships are always an impressive sight in the River Tyne, and always very photographic.

Best wishes from England

Allan.

Yer they did, obviously with me being a student I haven't become face to face with one but I have researched them. :-)

Hi KDS,

Thanks, glad you like the photo....better than my Ark Royal photos today. At least the DFDS Ferries show up better in white against the North East grey skies.

Took loads of Ark Royal photos today that just blended into the grey, gloomy sky. Recycling bin is full of them.

Best wishes

Allan.

Hi again KDS,

One thing I didn't realise until quite recently was that these DFDS ferries were at one time operating as cruise liners.

They are indeed impressive looking vessels.

Cheers

Allan.
