I think they ruined her looks when they lengthened her. Are they still working on her or is she finished?

I think I agree with you:-).. she had a much better look as original construction.

They are finished with the upgrading and she is soon ready to sail.

She was not built for the canadian company. Her hull was built at Kystvågen Verft A/s, Frei and fitted out at Sletta Båtbyggeri A/s, Aure. Delivered 20/7-1986 to Bøeship A/s ( Kolbjørn Bøe) at Averøy as 'Bøe Junior' - Kristiansund, at that time the worlds biggest livefish-carrier. She had from the delivery 2 x Nissan main engines, which as far as I know caused some problems, and they were 2 years later replaced by 1 x Mitsubishi engine. Sold in 2/1989 to Canada and renamed 'Western Thunderbird' - Vancouver.
Bought back to Norway in 9/1994 and renamed 'Grip Superior' - Kristiansund.
Concerning her recent rebuilding I think it's not a new wheelhouse, but the old one rebuilt and lifted one level upon a new superstructure.

I think she is posted in wrong category. It's former fishing vessel, but now looks like be converted to live fish carrier or any other kind of fish farms supply vessel.

This vessel as far as i know has always been a live fish carrier. She was lengthened last year. She had 14 metre's put in her, a new wheelhouse and bulbous bow fitted.

Yes this is and has always been a fish carrier, it was build as fish carrier at Sletta Batbyggeri in Aure Norway for a Canadian company, I was present my selfe at the naming and delivery of this ship, and it is correct that she was lengthen reasently an put on a bulbous bow and new wheel house, she has more or less gone through a major overhaul and upgrading.
