Once part of the cutting edge of the Swedish navy, it was built as part of the Spica class in the early 70s and modernised in the 80s and early 90s to keep up with the development.
Today it is part of the Swedish Navy museum in Karlskrona, but served until 1997 as a hit and run attack ship equipped with missiles.
