Description:

Aquabus I tied up at Wolverine Marina in Erie, 9 May 2005. Like the CANADIAN SAILOR and AQUABUS II, it shuttles passengers between the city and Presque Isle State Park.

Aquabus I (along with CANADIAN SAILOR and AQUABUS II) was built to shuttle passengers between Erie and Port DOver during the summer months, but it was quickly realized that little demand existed for a passenger-only service. All three vessels were built by Willard Marine of Anaheim, California in 2000, and are 40 feet long and 12 feet wide. All are owned by Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority. O. N. 1092982
