given that there are over 430 shots of QE2 on the site, I was very suprised to not find any shot of her on SS, even though she was only around for a few months as Gripsholm - where were you BobS ?? !!

Yes, missed this one. Never even saw it sail past the bottom of my garden. I took very few ship photos in the 1990s. I was too busy working for-Cunard in road transport at the time. Took lots of photos of trucks, though!
I would opine, though, that whoever designed the 'improvements' to her since I photographed her in 1969 certainly knew how to mess-up a good looking ship!

Hm.... It actually took a couple of seconds before i got it.
Not that bright, allways, hehe!
Gorgeous ship made 40 % worse.
