Sitmar's Fairsea departs Adelaide on a grey day in October 1968. She was less than a year away from her fate by the breakers at La Spezia [August 1969].
Completed in 1942 by Sun Ship Builders, Chester, Pa.as the aircraft carrier Charger, for the Royal Navy. Converted to a passeger ship in 1949 and r/n Fairsea.
