Very nice close-up, Pekka!
If you want her, you can have her. As it is her first visit to Finland I understand your excitement, but believe me, this ship can be quite an annoyance. Watch out, it won't be long, and she's lurking behind every corner at the harbour you're turning. She's done that with me last year here at Hamburg... Be warned! :-D :-D

Yeah, remember you have seen her too many times. Well, their another similar named ship, MERWEDIJK has been enough well-known here at least. :-D

Damn, my psychiatrist had just succeeded in deleting THAT name from my memory! Marne- and Merwedijk, the terrible sisters! :-D

From the same company with similar names. Well, sometimes the regulars also can be difficult to see, let me introduce NATHALIE EHLER, every week in Kotka and most every time arrives & departs in the night. :-D

Then one might get to the conclusion that the shipping company is acting deliberately! :-o
But I've seen you've taken some incredibly beautiful nightshots in the past. I think Nathalie's colour scheme would also look quite nice at night! :-)

I agree, she looks great in the dark. But after those older shots, haven´t seen her underway.

That's a pity!
Or is she coming and going in the dead of night, when you're having your daily date with Mr. Sandman? :-?

Mostly yes.

Ok, going out in the middle of the night to take some pictures surely isn't everyone's cup of tea... It surely wouldn't be mine! :-)
So let's hope for a change in schedule...

Yep, would like to catch some fresh views of her for a while. :-)

Yes there you are! SUper catch.
And the trans arctic as well!
Ah, good stuff. I have a special one for you as well.
Watch out.
And thanx a lot!

I´m very happy you liked this and the Seatrans tanker, was thinking of your JRS CARINA shot when taking these close-ups. Hehe. Will wait for your special one. :-)
