No the photo was taken sone years before the collision The vessel was in Genoa San Giorgio shipyard were was shortened by cutting in the middle and removing a section The work was done with the vessel afloat.

Gianpaolo, the collision was between Agip Abruzzo and Moby PRINCE and not Moby KING!!! ;)
