I'm scouting around for new places to shoot from this summer and here's one of them. Only problem is, that this will strictly be a morning only spot since the sun quickly makes it's way in front of you making everything back lit. Still, great spot for catching incoming cruise ships!

Thanks Andrew!
Trust me, I can't wait. Just the thought of going out there again, in the beautiful weather, and the ipod blasting what ever is left of my ear drums makes me giggle like a little girl :)

Well then, encore, please!
This shot is really nice, but now I'll be waiting for the first cruise liners to arrive.
Hope you're not totally grumpy in the morning! :-D

Best regards
Jens

LOL, Jens, if you were around me first thing in the morning, you'd hear swear words that would make any sailor blush....and for no apparent reason! But that's a whole another story.

I'm looking really forward to shooting the cruisers from there. Great spot and the morning light will definitely add to the overall pics.

Regards!

Ok, that puts me at ease (i.e. you looking forward to shooting from there, not the swearing thing)! (...but I know the feeling!!)
Now I'M really looking forward to your photos from there... :-)

(And judging from your answer and the time of night over here in Germany, a quarter to midnight, I suppose you just got out of bed to avoid making sailors blush too often!) (Just kidding...)

Best regards
Jens
