HMCS Glace Bay MM 701 preparing to get underway from anchorage in the Bedford Basin ,Halifax on 16th March 2008.Glace Bay and five sister MCDVs are based on Halifax and provide training for Reserve Navy personnel as well as Mine Warfare taskings.
Six additional ships of this class are based on Canada's West Coast at Esquimalt,B.C.
