- in the dry dock along the Erie Canal in Lockport,NY, 5-9-05. The wierd thing about this great looking tug is that it is named after my home town outside of Rochester,NY. This happens to be one of if not my favorite tug I have seen. Sadly I have not seen her working yet, but perhaps some day before she is dismantled, once the the Erie Canal System upgrades to Z-Drives(yeah right, no ships pass the canal)

this is one of the more interesting drydock arrangement I've seen. It doesnt appear that she's sitting on actual keel blocks, just a long cradle...and it almost looks like its leaning against/made fast to the wall? How big was this dock? were there other boats in as well? Great photo though, and I'd love to have a fun little tug like that to play around on. Sadly it never seems like the Canal people hire marine crew.

Nice one, Matt!

Where exactly in Lockport is this? Three weeks of school left, and I'm already planning my summer road trips.
