Hi Marie-Anne

Glad you like the pic. I'm afraid I am very picky about the weather when I take pics. as I have a 100 mile round trip from home to Calshot, so the sun must be shining. Also the ship has to be very special, or there is a promise of several ships on the move...... Summit was the special; this and the other tanker were bonuses although I am very keen on BP as they pay my pension !!!! You are very lucky being in Antwerp - you get more ships in an hour than we do in a day in Southampton !!!! I enjoy my September weekend in Terneuzen with Solent Maritime Society, but I and a couple of others have decided to stay at Terneuzen rather than do the Flandria trip as we prefer underway shots to berthed ones, otherwise we would probably have met last September when you met Andy etc.

all the best

Allan

Hi Allan,

Antwerp is a very nice port to take pictures at. Ships on the move are always fantastic to take pictures of.
But getting them i'm as picky as you. Then i have to drive pretty far and i think it has to stay a nice hobby and should not put to much strength on the budget.

I met Andy and the others last year. You do have a very nice buch to travel with!
Take care and i hope you catch a lot of great ships next time you get to Terneuzen.

Greetz,
Marie-Anne
