COMMENT THIS PHOTO(8)
My wife and I went on her 6th-13th January this year, nice ship, we were pleasantly surprised, we thought it was going to be a bit tight for space after being on 'Balmoral' and the 'Black Watch', but it was very nice, particularly the top Marquee Deck, loads of space.
Looking at you photo of the mid section, I would say Jens, it shows the Starboard side, looking at the 4th deck down from the top Marquee Deck, that is the Lounge Deck, your photo shows a doorway, right to the far right of the windows of the Library, I don't think there are any doorways on the Port side of the new section on Lounge Deck, so I think Jens we are going for Starboard side.
We found all the weld seams for the new mid section, waterline to top of Marquee Deck, they all looked fine Jens !
Regards and thanks Jens, from Chris

I was lucky back then. I took this photo while I was on a harbor boat trip and had no idea at the time what it was...:-)
As for your question, I think it is the portside. I tried and compared it with this photo:

judging from the position of the structure on top of the section. What do you say?

Jens
